Nina has always had a passion for helping people and truly believes it is what she is meant to do. This passion, paired with her own divine healing, has led her on a glorious journey receiving education in all areas of health and wellness. She currently maintains her license in Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy; trained in several therapeutic modalities including Functional Medicine for Mental Health, Yoga, and Integration Restoration Yoga Nidra. She is also a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master. In 2020, she discovered a deep calling for Sacred Plant Medicine and Psychedelics. This study as vastly deepened her own growth process as well as allowed her to work with clients in different ways. She is steadfast in her calling to help guide people through their healing and evolution in various ways.

Culture Talks with Constance Kostrevski

Constance Kostrevski has been taking photographs since the age of eight when she received her first camera from her grandmother. Photography was a family affair; her grandfather was a portrait photographer back in Macedonia. Fascinated by her family’s history and culture, Constance began by taking portraits of her grandmother after school, taking the time to choose her outfits and adjust the setting and lighting. She soon fell into the role of photographer and stylist.

It was her interest in fashion from styling these shoots that inspired her to study fashion merchandising and marketing, earning a BA from the Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago. In 2004 she was one of twelve amateur photographers chosen for a summer residency at The School of Visual Arts, New York.

Constance lived and worked in Chicago, finding inspiration in many places: her vibrant neighborhood of Pilsen, friends, travels, architecture, nature, and music. An adept portrait photographer, Constance's ability to connect with her subjects allows her to not only capture a portrait but also to tell a story. She has defined herself through the people she shoots, allowing her portraits to show that everyone has a story to share. During this time she built connections within the Chicago music scene, hosting the pioneering online music stream Cutz on Cuts, hosting and Djing with the boogie musters and curating Record Store Day 2015 at K Starke records, now Wild Prairie Vinyl & Vintage.

From 2015-2018 She ran an after school program in collaboration with The National Mexican Museum of Fine Art - Chicago, where she taught analogue photography to children aged 7-14. At the same time Constance's love of music developed, releasing records with Beyond Luck and DJ Moppy. As well as holding down residencies at Murasaki, Fox Bar and Booze Box all in Chicago. She has worked with many artists and musicians, including comedian Hannibal Buress on My Name Is Hannibal and Live From Chicago, musician Radius on his album Neighborhood Suicide, musician Moppy on his album The Seven Wonders of the Sea, as well as with musical group The Cool Kids which was included in the “Next 1000” issue for URB magazine. Her work has been featured in print and digital publications, including the Chicago Reader, Chicago magazine, i-D magazine, Time Out Chicago, URB Magazine, XLR8R, Pitchfork and Getty images.

In 2018, Constance relocated to London, UK where she continues to draw inspiration from her new city surroundings. From volunteering at Artbox London, a charity that offers art programs for adults with learning disabilities, to volunteering with the NHS. Her work continues to inspire the art of working and serving her community through her natural abilities to create.

Rehna Mathews has been on a journey to rediscover her true self. Her motto is ‘Get comfortable being uncomfortable’. She thrives on meeting new people, embracing new experiences and is always curious. As a result of removing the layers placed by society and honoring her true spirit, she is feeling more joy and fulfillment in her life.

2021 was a particularly wonderful year for Rehna. She collaborated with 10 other poets from different parts of the world to publish their first book ‘Beautiful People and Words – A Collection of Poems from Around the World’. This was her dream, and she was the driving force behind this project. Since then, the social media community ‘Beautiful People and Words’ was formed. They meet on clubhouse few times a week to share poetry and pour love into each other.

Rehna has an amazing daughter and a beautiful cat who inspire her every day.

Maya Dove was born and raised in Croatia, Europe and moved to Canada 7 years ago. Since childhood she had a gift of seeing and knowing things, but as Croatia is a Catholic country and her family was filled with atheist/skeptics. Her gifts were considered taboo and were laying dormant inside her.

Things shifted fast after her arrival to Canada where she developed her spiritual abilities and learned energy work from The School Of Light.org and Master Teacher Starlet Paradis. .Combining all of her life experiences and gifts, she created the Soul Communication work, where she connects to the soul of the person she is working with to channel. She then delivers information and energy most beneficial for whatever the person is looking to achieve or learn about.

Her focus is on making these gifts available for anyone who is open to fun new experiences as information she is channeling comes directly from the Soul Perspective and has the ability to override any limiting beliefs including those that can come from spiritual practices. Her vision is focused on world of true freedom , empowerment, flexibility, innovation and diversity as she believes life is here to be fun and exploratory adventure.

Sharon Radigan was Born and raised in Brooklyn NY. City life moved fast, which did not allow her to be surrounded by the beautiful and natural elements of this Earth. That fast paced lifestyle stayed with her for many years. The healing power of nature was not something she fully understood until now. Her curiosity of natural energy, allowed her to explore facets that lead her through a beautiful journey of self discovery.

She knew she loved beautiful things and how they made her feel, which led her to becoming a licensed cosmetologist. Making people feel beautiful and how it impacted their confidence, was always something so powerful to her. A simple change created a shift. However, there was something about the physical changes that still felt superficial.

Moving to the suburbs began her love affair with nature. After experiencing a traumatizing life event, she instinctively started on a path that would lead to, not only her own healing, but understanding more about the energy around us and moving through us. She just moved in the direction that made her feel good to her core. She began to spend more time in nature, along with choosing how and with who she spent her time with.

It was the positive energetic impact that was so powerful. Becoming certified as a Feng Shui Practitioner was the natural next step for her. Still making things beautiful, but with a bigger purpose. The ultimate goal is to help people understand something they can't see. To trust their intuition and hear their own voice.

We give too much of our own personal power away, which can lead to living a life that does not feel purposeful. Understanding how to work with the energies and live in balance with them, opens us up to so much more than the eye can see in physical form.

Culture Talks with Isaac Rocha

Isaac Rocha was born and raised in small town Las Cruces New Mexico to parents, Hector and Becky Rocha. He was born into a faith based Denomination known as the Apostolic Assembly where his father ministered throughout his entire life.

HE Graduated in 2003 from Onate High School with a full scholarship to New Mexico State and lost it shortly after the gain. He went back for a year and decided to take a break to reevaluate his options. That break quickly turned into 16 years of journeying through life with absolutely no desire to go back. He realized that traditional College just wasn’t for him.

The past 22 year’s have allowed Isaac to journey through work experiences in fast food restaurants, retail, corporate banking, Lyft driving, church worship singing/leadership, to now running his own Business from the comforts of his phone and home. His diverse skill-sets have gifted him the ability to connect deeply with people, while allowing him to service communities of families in different parts of the world. His services help families earn more income, save on taxes and insurance, while becoming properly protected in the process.

During this time, Isaac also embarked on a 14-year, 80 lb weight-loss journey that completely transformed his life. This very path took his self-love practices to new levels. Giving him a deeper understanding of his own self-healing abilities. Taking him through the phases that renewed his behaviors, habits, diet, mind, physical & spiritual body; as well every aspect of his life.

His transition to Phoenix, AZ 5 years ago accelerated his transformation and desire for change. The memory of this “shy” introvert kid hiding behind his mom’s dress is just that…a distant memory. These days, his quiet demeanor just disguises his ability to communicate with so much wisdom and clarity when he speaks.

Isaac considers himself a creative and empathic individual with a deep appreciation and love for the arts. His love for food, travel, exploration, individuality, and freedom continues to grow as he grows each and everyday. He now strives and desires to live his life one present moment at a time.

While living her first four years between El Paso and Zaragoza, Chihuahua Mexico, her parents settled in the small town of Chaparral, NM. There, they planted a church as part of the Apostolic Assembly where they pastor to this day.

Her journey from a small town in NM to Tucson, AZ, has led her to gaining not only a PhD in Cancer Biology but the wealth of knowledge that comes from exposure to different cultures and experiences. Following her two great passions in life, cancer research and motherhood, has been her drive to becoming greater.

Lauren is student of people...a curious spirit and her love for puzzles has found her in her latest favorite role of a mortgage loan officer. She started over 20 years ago as a fitness instructor and the thrill of changing someone’s life with one class spurred a passion for teaching and contributing to help people realize that they really can do whatever they set their minds to.

Her role as a mother of two amazing men has gifted her the ability to develop many unique skills throughout her life. She had the opportunity to start an interior design company when her boys were little to help other mom’s use the resources they already had to transform their homes with very little money. She holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Art and has studied Feng Shui, astrology, science, and different mediums of art; including Sculpting. Her passion for sculpture inspired the launch of her online fitness company a few years ago.

She transitioned from fitness to Real Estate, which lead her down the path as an appraiser to now mortgage lending. She fell into the mortgage industry at a time of difficulty and struggle in a very meaningful relationship. It was at this time that she took a very deep dive into self-awareness and her limiting core beliefs. She jokes about how being a loan officer is the perfect job for a recovering codependent.

Lauren's ability to connect with people, serve and make a difference in their life is a huge driver and motivator for her everyday. She continuously practices authenticity and is amazed and grateful for the community of clients whom she has the honor of serving.

Zeke Rodriguez was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He is currently the Founder and President of Continual Growth LLC., an Air Force veteran, father, and natural healing advocate. Under his leadership, Continual Growth is now southern New Mexico’s leading medical cannabis card clinic and CBD resource center.

Beyond Continual Growth, Zeke’s drive to uplift his community through wellness can be seen in his hosting of the last 3 annual yoga festivals from 2017 to 2020. He believes yoga encourages a natural healing lifestyle as it focuses on mind, body, and spirit all in one practice. Healing the community and bringing people together is Zeke’s path and his purpose. Sandra Espiritu was born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico and moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico at the age of nine with her single mother and three younger siblings. She learned work ethic, independence and responsibility at a very young age. Sandra acquired her New Mexico Real Estate Broker license in 2005. After 2 years in the business, she decided to launch her own Real Estate company during one of the toughest economic times.

During the 2008 market crash, Enchanted Sun Realty was born. Sandra is the Founder and Qualifying Broker of Enchanted Sun Realty, where they pride themselves in being a local boutique, woman-owned, minority-owned, Real Estate company in Las Cruces, New Mexico and expanding to surrounding areas. Her business philosophy has always been a “People Vs. Profit” business model and positive culture. Advocating home ownership, affordable housing, and sustainable living practices is their passion. Supporting local business, entrepreneurship, and inspiring women is part of their company mission.

Their team loves contributing back to their community as well as providing free education for first time home buyers, investors and teaching financial literacy. Her business and life philosophy is to make a positive impact on those around her, her team, clients, colleagues, and the communities they serve. Kendra Espiritu was born and raised in beautiful Las Cruces, New Mexico where she still calls home today. Born into a Mexican American family and living in a border town, Kendra has developed an admiration for culture and people. Kendra is a senior studying at New Mexico State University and will be graduating December 2021 with her Bachelor’s in International Business, and minors in International Studies and Spanish.

After graduating, she wishes to pursue law school for Environmental Law. Kendra’s passion is to work with non-government entities in creating and enforcing environmental standards for businesses and communities. During Kendra’s college career, she studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain and fell in love with the experience, city and its people. This is where she hopes to return to pursue an International Environmental Law program.

But, not before she opens up her coffee, pizza, and wine lounge, Grounded Cafe, with her family this fall! Kendra has been a barista for 4+ years and has been involved in the coffee industry/ culture since she was young. Her favorite aspect about the coffee industry is its ability to bring people together and provide a shared space to be creative, make connections, and collaborate with others in the community. Grounded has been a dream of Kendra and her family for many years, as they have always wanted to own their own coffee shop. This past year, although difficult, provided the Espiritu family with the opportunity to fulfill that dream.

Jolene Martinez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer for Families & Youth, Inc., a non-profit organization operating in Southern New Mexico. She earned both her graduate and undergraduate degrees from New Mexico State University (NMSU). Jolene’s career has been focused primarily in child welfare, serving most of her career at the state child protective service office.

More recently her efforts have been centered on renewing, developing, and restoring services at Families & Youth, Inc. in the areas of behavioral health, innovative youth programming, child welfare, emergency shelter, and food insecurity. Jolene’s social work interests include assessing and intervening with macro systems at their intersection with oppressive practices that harm and immobilize families and communities.

Born and raised in Northern New Mexico, Jolene moved to Southern New Mexico to pursue her education and has made Las Cruces, NM her home for the last 18 years. Jolene is married to a US Army Veteran, Dustin and together they have 3 children. On a personal note Jolene describes herself as a believer, leader, and motivator. A baby artist, retro sneaker head, and general rebel rouser on a mission. A mission to heal herself through using her time, talents, and treasure to serve others.
